The West Valley Bike Loop

The West Valley Bike Loop is the number one cycling destination in the region. The loop is a moderate to a strenuous gutsy ride that takes cyclists past revolving windmills into the unrelenting desert landscape.

The West Valley Bike Loop travels from Palm Springs, CA to the western frontier of Desert Hot Springs. Bikers are usually stunned by the amazing desert views that provide the backdrop for this ten to fifty mile bike ride, depending on which route you decide to take. It can take anywhere from three to six hours to complete the entire loop.

The West Valley Bike Loop is not for the faint of heart, but instead is a challenging desert ride that highlights the beauty and uniqueness of the surrounding landscape.

Directions: The West Valley Bike Loop starts at the intersection of Vista Chino and North Indian Canyon Road in Palm Springs, CA. At the start of the trail is plenty of parking, restrooms and stores to purchase supplies, such as water and snacks.
